Ensure your manuscript has been completely edited and proofread.
Send your manuscript to the typesetter in Microsoft Word.
Make it visually clear what should be set as heading 1, heading 2, and body text by assigning paragraph and character styles. Assigning styles will make the process more efficient for everyone.
Typesetting will commence once the main body of the book is provided preferably with the forward, intro etc.
Provide the entire manuscript in one document. The document may be later broken up into separate file for a very large job.
The typesetter will place the text into the InDesign file.
